What is Your Deepest Fear?

What is Your Deepest Fear?
Sometimes things just strike, don’t know how, but they do, and suddenly everything appears in a new shade, like never before. Last Sunday, like every other Sunday, while bingeing with my old movie collection, I came to a scene in movie “Coach Carter” which has changed me a lot, and allowed me to accept myself.
Coach Ken Carter, portrayed by Samuel Jackson, keep on asking one simple question to one of his student athlete, Timo Cruz, What is you deepest fear? Though at one point of time, it irritates you, when Coach again and again ask the same question, What is your deepest fear?

Cruz never replied to the Coach, and try to escape him, whenever he ask the same? But in the climax scene, Cruz stands up, and answer the question,

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

I have realized that while stopping yourself from not doing things that are actually good for you, you are not only limiting yourself but also harassing yourself. You are also creating problems for others, your family, friends, colleagues and everyone who love you and care about you. By acting small, which you believe, not hurting people by not following your dreams, you are actually hurting them in the meanest way. When you act small, the negativity also transpires them to act small. When you inhibit your positivity, it also inhibits theirs. It is going nowhere, and the answer to this nowhere is accepting your deepest fear.

Now it’s depend you, you want to face your deepest fear or not.
