12 Bollywood Movies To Watch in 2015

The new year is here. So the new action, new romance, new inspirations and new movies. And being a movie buff, what do you want more. I think, some cheese popcorn and coke (I prefer crushed ice lemonade but what to do). Here I have made a list of movies that are going to release this year i.e. 2015 and I am going to watch them.



1. Hawaizaada
It’s a season of biopics in bollywood. And this one is from bag of Ayushmann Khurrana (aka Vicky Donor). The Hawaizaada is based on the life of Indian scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, who said to invented an unmanned airplane in 1895, even 8 year before Wright Brothers achieved such a feat. The movie is slated to release on 30th of January.

2. Shamitabh
The Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush starrer Shamitabh is tale of two talented artistes, a mute and deaf young actor played by Dhanush who collabrates with an old voice artist played by Amitabh Bachchan to weave magic. But what happens, when ego clashes? The R. Blaki movies is supposed to be released on 1st friday of february, i.e. 6th of feb.

3. Badlapur
Actually I quite don’t like Varun Dhawan. But the promos promise something different from earlier Varun Dhawan flicks. The film also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Quereshi, Yami Gautam, Divya Gautam and Radhika Apte in lead roles and slated to release on this 20th of february.

4. NH10
NH 10, the much awaited Anushka Sharma movie is here. The movie is about a road trip that went wrong. But it something more than that, for that you need to watch movie. The film feature Neil Bhoopalam of Shaitan as male protaganist. The film is slated to release on March 6.

5. Tigers
Tigers is not something your daily tea cup. Set is backdrop of Pakistan, Tigers is based on real life story of a baby food salesman played by Emraan Hashmi, who turns whistle-blower, when he is conviced the baby food which he is marketing, is responsible for several infant deaths. The movie is slated to be released on same day as NH-10. Its 6th of March. The movie also feature National Award winning actress Geetanjali Thapa as female lead.

6. Wazir
Though I don’t know, what to expect from the movie. But when I first saw the teaser, I just said to myself, “I want to see this movie”. Wazir, previosly named “Do” starring Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, and Aditi Rao Hydari, directed by Bejoy Namibar slated to be released on March 6th.

7. Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!
I want to see this movie, purely because of Byomkesh Bakshi (the DD National TV Series). I am 90’s kid, who loves the DD National shows like Shaktimaan, Captain Vyom, and Byomkesh Bakshi. So can’t resist myself, when I heard of such movie, and especially on one of my favorite shows. Shushant Singh Rajput will be potraying the famous Byomkesh Bakshi. The film is slated to release on 10th of April.

8. Piku
Piku is light heart drama starring Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. The film deals with the subject of father-daughter relationship. Irrfan Khan, Moushami Chaterjee and Jishu Sengupta also playing pivotal roles. Piku is slated for release on April 30th, 2015.

9. Bombay Velvet
Bombay Velvet is lastest by Anurag Kashyap, based on the book Mumbai Fables by Indian historian Gyan Prakash. Set in 1960s, Bombay Velvet is story of Johnny Balraj, a boxer potrayed by Ranbir Kapoor and Rosie, a Jazz Singer donned by Anushka Sharma. The film also features Karan Johar as main antagonist. The film is set to be released on May 15.

10. Dil Dhadakne Do
The another light heart drama from the bag of Zoya Akhtar, which revolves around a dysfunctional Punjabi family on cruise trip. Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma and Riddhima Sud will be seen donning the lead roles. The film is slated to be released on June 5.

11. Bajirao Mastani
Bajirao Mastani is periodic drama film based on the story of Maratha Peshwa Baji Rao and his second wife Mastani. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali film features Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.

12. Tamasha
Tamasha is light heart romance by Imtiaz Ali, teaming up with Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. Tamasha is a fairytale love story of a gypsy and traveler who fall in love with each other.

Some Other Notable Releases or you can say Bonus
Rocky Handsome of John Abraham, the movie is based on 2010 Korean movie The Man from Nowhere. And Akshay Kumar’s Baby and Gabbar.
